We are happy to announce that our Burtonsville office has a new clinical director! Shweta Nerurkar is stepping up and joining our amazing director team after only being with Forever Fit for 6 months! We are beyond proud to have Shweta on our team as she steps into this position!
Shweta graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2015 with a Masters degree in Physical therapy. She went ahead and got a transitional doctor of physical therapy degree with manual therapy certification. She has taken continuing education courses focussing on joint mobilisation, Mckenzie technique, vestibular rehab, Graston technique, Mulligan technique, neural tissue mobilisation and Kinesiotaping technique. She is a certified LSVT BIG therapist. Shweta’s expertise include treating pre and post operative patients, several orthopaedic conditions and neurological conditions like stroke and Parkinson’s disease. She is experienced in working with all age groups.
When not treating patients, Shweta loves to soak in the fresh air by running, hiking and traveling as much as she can. Fun fact, Shweta actually speaks three languages English, Hindu and Marathi.
