Physical Therapy in Silver Spring (Downtown)
About Us
In 2018 Krista, along with her partners Renee Nyarko Eluma, PT, DPT and Sara Richeson Harris, PT, DPT successfully opened the Colesville Road location to serve the residents of Silver Spring and the surrounding areas. We hope to continue to alleviate pain, improve mobility and most importantly, create lifelong quality of life for our patients. We will provide you with the education to care for this injury and others in the future. We teach you about your body, how pain works, how to prevent future recurrence and what to do if re-injury does occur. You can expect friendly, consistent and reliable service at every visit, with input into your goals and the healing process.

Katherine De Lara

Silver Spring – Downtown
Dr. Kat De Lara graduated from Marquette University in 2018 with a degree in Athletic Training. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University in 2021. Although she has an athletic background having played basketball and running growing up, Kat enjoys working with all populations. One of her primary goals as a physical therapist is to help people get back to doing what they love, whether that is getting back on the basketball court or playing with their grandkids pain free. With these goals in mind, Kat has completed additional training in trigger point dry needling and pelvic health. She prides herself in providing patient-centered care to ensure that everyone she works with feels heard and prioritized, which allows her to work together with her patients to achieve their goals. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outside (running, hiking, and just laying out in the sun), watching TV/movies, and hanging out with her family and friends.
