Nicole Garner

Physical Therapist
Largo

Nicole is a Prince George’s County Native. She was an athlete through her primary and secondary education years. It was in high school that Nicole was introduced to athletic training through an elective class. Athletic training and anatomy classes were her introduction to the human form and function. Nicole was intrigued by mixing the sport and science worlds. Nicole went on to pursue athletic training at High Point University in North Carolina. In the end, the conflict between attending her own sport (track and field) practices and the academic requirement of being present at the practices of other collegiate sports teams became too great. The conflict resulted in a change to an exercise science major and securing her career path toward physical therapy.

Nicole completed physical therapy school at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Physical therapy became an even better fit as she was able to apply her knowledge to a broader population and expand her ability to help others. Nicole has been practicing general outpatient orthopedic physical therapy for over 15 years with 5 of those years additionally practicing in the home care setting.

In her free time Nicole enjoys completing various small home improvement projects, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her dog.
