We are happy to announce that our Columbia office has a new clinical director! Our clinical directors are an integral part of our day to day operations. They help carry out our Forever Fit vision, while aiding in management and goal setting all while treating our patients.
Meghan Reed has been an integral part of our physical therapist team for the past 2 years. Growing up, Meghan spent time all over the world as a dependent of the Navy but has been able to call Maryland her home for the past decade! Meghan is a graduate of University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, MD. When not treating patients, Meghan loves to be outdoors, hiking and camping.
Meghan has experience treating in a variety of settings from the hospital to outpatient clinics. She has experience with all ages from little ones in the NICU to Geriatrics. She enjoys working with adolescents, athletic populations, patients with balance deficits, and patients with vestibular dysfunction and concussions. She utilizes various treatment techniques including McKenzie protocols for the lumbar spine, functional strengthening, and pain science education. She is currently certified by the American Institute of Balance in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion. When not treating patients, Meghan loves to go hiking and camping with friends and family.
