Krista Frederic

Krista Frederic is licensed physical therapist with a passion and focus on orthopedic physical therapy. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and she particularly enjoys treating injuries of the hip, shoulder and knee. Krista is a strong believer in prevention of injury and dysfunction through maintenance of a healthy lifestyle. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is a Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional. Krista is a certified in Graston Technique. She is also Level 1 Dry Needling certified through KinetaCore. She was a collegiate volleyball player and remains physically active through fitness classes, tennis, and golf.
As owner, Krista has established a culture within Forever Fit that places special focus on rapid recovery. Her team performs comprehensive injury evaluations and takes the time to develop a thorough understanding each patient’s body structure, environment, and lifestyle, a key to successful physical therapy outcomes. As a result Forever Fit’s clients enjoy a truly individualized wellness experience with an inclusive treatment plan of exercise and manual therapy. But most importantly it is her team’s attention to patient education on their bodies and their injuries that makes Forever Fit’s patients comfortable with their recovery plans, insures their active involvement in the recovery process and makes patient referral Forever Fit’s most important and reliable source of new clients.
Darshana Boricha

Dr. Boricha completed her Doctor in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, California in 2017 where she also got a chance to practice under her DPT program director. She moved to Maryland in 2019 and started working in an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic where she worked with all age populations and extensively worked on treating Musculoskeletal and Neuromuscular conditions. She also loves treating the Pediatric population.
Darshana also completed an 8 day Mulligan Mobilization program to enhance her hands-on skills to treat patients with spinal and joint related conditions.
In her free time, she loves to explore new places and has a bucket list of visiting at least 3 new places every year.
Renee Nyarko Eluma

For the past 15 years, Dr. Renee Eluma has provided comprehensive treatment to her patients using a wide variety of manual therapy techniques complimented by exercise to help patients return to a healthy lifestyle. All treatments that she utilizes incorporates functional activity and movements to ensure that the patient’s functional goals are addressed. She is also a strong proponent of patient education to assist each patient in their transition to independent management of their impairments. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic injuries, especially those involving the shoulders, knees and ankles. She spent 4 years volunteering her time to the Washington DC Divas, a professional women’s tackle football team, where she provided sports PT assessment and treatment to help players return to the field. In 2014, Dr. Renee Eluma opened the second Forever Fit outpatient physical therapy facility in Bowie, Maryland. Since then, she has assisted in the opening of two additional clinics with Forever Fit Physical Therapy. Recently, she was named one of Maryland’s 2019 Top Doctors in the Physical Therapy Category.
In her spare time, Dr. Renee Eluma enjoys spending time with her husband and two young girls. She volunteers her time to a non-profit organization that raises money to provide hospital and school supplies to villages in her family’s home country of Ghana, West Africa. Her favorite pastimes include traveling, meeting new people, cheering for all the Washington DC area home teams, especially the Washington Redskins.

Dr. Mario Alexander received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from North Central College in Naperville, IL. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX in 2024. After suffering a season ending injury playing basketball and going through a long stent of physical therapy, this experience led him to develop a passion for not only the rehabilitation process, but he loved the atmosphere and the environment as well. He enjoys working and interacting with a variety of patients in the orthopedic setting to help them reach their goals of returning to their prior level of function. Outside of working, he enjoys working out, watching sports, trying new foods, and spending time with family.

Maya Marks, PTA graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount St. Mary’s University in 2021 with a focus in Pre-Physical Therapy and a minor in Philosophy. After working as a tech in a physical therapy outpatient clinic for over a year, she attended Howard Community College to receive her A.A.S degree to become a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Some of Maya’s clinical experience include The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland, Chesapeake Bay Aquatics and Orthopedics, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at their National Intrepid Center of Excellence which specializes in treating traumatic brain injuries.
Maya enjoys working with a variety of conditions but has a special interest in diagnoses involving the upper extremities (shoulder, elbow, and wrist) and those who present with balance deficits and overall deconditioning. She values outside of the box interventions to provide her patients the best care and overall experience.
In her free time, Maya enjoys riding horses, cooking for friends and family, and shopping local/supporting small businesses! Additionally, if you have any pets, she will ask to see a picture of them.
Nency Mehta

Dr. Nency Mehta completed her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy in Pune, India in 2015. Thereafter she practiced in India for 1.5 years where she gained additional hands-on experience by working in an Outpatient Orthopedic, Hospital setting where the patient caseload was mainly centered on orthopedic, neurological- adults/pediatric, and spinal post-surgical conditions.
Dr. Mehta completed her Doctor in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University, California in 2019. Over the years of her clinical work experience, Dr. Mehta has worked with Orthopedic, Sports injuries, Neurological, Pediatric, Geriatric, Cardiovascular, Vestibular, and Work conditioning patients. She has completed several workshops on Differential diagnosis & treatment of lower extremity edemas, the Motor Relearning Program for Stroke Rehabilitation, and PNF in Neuro Rehabilitation. Dr. Mehta has also been a Physical Therapy volunteer for Pune International Marathon, in India. Dr. Mehta uses an evidence-based and patient-centered treatment approach to assist and restore a patient’s functional status to its fullest potential. She is experienced in working with all age groups and looks forward to the ability to treat a variety of conditions at Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness. Dr. Mehta enjoys spending her spare time working out, traveling, and exploring new places every year.

Dr. Shweta Nerurkar graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2015 with a Masters degree in Physical therapy. She went on to earn a transitional doctor of physical therapy degree with manual therapy certification. She values further learning, completing continuing education courses focusing on joint mobilisation, Mckenzie techniques for the spine, vestibular rehabilitation, graston technique, mulligan technique, neural tissue mobilisation and kinesiotaping technique. She is a certified LSVT BIG therapist for treating Parkinson's patients. Dr. Shweta Nerurkar's expertise include treating pre and post operative patients, several orthopaedic conditions and neurological conditions like stroke and Parkinson's disease. Earning a B.S. in Kinesiology from Penn State University opened her eyes to the many ways movement can drive overall wellness and have a positive impact on health, inspiring her career. Graduating with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, she was able to gain invaluable mentorship and experience working with women and men suffering from pelvic pain as well as various bowel and bladder conditions. In her first years of practice, she was able to expand her breadth of knowledge to include pediatrics, pregnancy, postpartum, and more medically complex patients.
Committed to providing the best possible care for each of her patients she will create a unique program to address each person’s specific needs and goals. Through education, exercise, and self management strategies she hopes to foster independence and confidence for lifelong success.

Dr. Patricia Reynolds is a board-certified Doctor of Physical Therapy with specialized expertise in pelvic health, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, and orthopedic conditions. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Her passion for physical therapy was ignited during her time as a Red Cross volunteer at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where she witnessed the profound impact of therapy on improving patients’ lives. This inspiration led her to specialize in pelvic health, where she is certified as a Pregnancy and Post-partum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES).
Dr. Reynolds joined Forever Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness in 2024, bringing her commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care. At Forever Fit, she focuses on empowering patients of all ages and genders through individualized treatment plans. She addresses a range of pelvic floor issues such as incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse, and supports pre- and postpartum recovery. Her expertise also includes vestibular dysfunction, post-concussion syndrome, and orthopedic conditions such as TMJ and post-surgical recovery.
Dr. Reynolds integrates practical techniques, including manual therapy, surface EMG biofeedback, and therapeutic exercises, to optimize recovery and enhance functional outcomes. Additionally, she holds certifications in Adult Bladder and Urinary Incontinence (Medbridge), Orthopedic Excellence: The Spine (Medbridge), Myofascial Manipulation (University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences), and is an LGBTQIA+ Safe Zone Clinician.
Theresa Logan

Theresa Logan, PTA, LMT, MLD-C, has been a practicing Physical Therapist Assistant in the field for just over 17 years. She earned her A.A.S as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Montgomery College in 2005 and began working in outpatient orthopedics in 2006. She has experience not only in treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions and post-operative patients, but also has experience in the pediatric traumatic brain injury field. In addition to her work in physical therapy, Theresa returned to school to obtain a license in Massage Therapy from the Potomac Massage Training Institute as well as both a Bachelors and Masters in Health Care Administration. Not only does she strive to help each patient achieve their individual physical therapy goals, but she also has special interest in quality and safety and is always looking for ways to improve the overall patient experience. When not treating patients in the clinic, Theresa can usually be found spending time with her family, and her three dogs.
Katy Johnson

Dr. Johnson grew up playing soccer and lacrosse competitively which led to her love for movement and physical activity. She saw the immense need for physical therapy to help her return to sport and life activities following injuries and that led her to pursue physical therapy. Since graduating Dr. Johnson has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting starting as a staff physical therapist and then as a Director of Physical Therapy. She enjoys working with patients from all age ranges and injuries, but has a particular passion for assisting patients with low back pain.
Outside of the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, working out, hiking and reading.

Dr. Katie Deosaran is a licensed physical therapist who enjoys treating orthopedic conditions of all kinds. She earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2021, and then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2024. After a childhood as a competitive athlete, Katie was drawn to a career in physical therapy as it combined several of her interests: a lifelong love of science and anatomy, creative problem solving to meet specific patient needs, physical activity, and the opportunity to initiate meaningful and lasting change in people, regardless of their goals or current abilities. Outside of the clinic, Katie loves reading, trying out new restaurants, and is an avid fan of the Maryland Terrapins

Dr. Aparna Tarkar, PT, DPT, is a dedicated and licensed physical therapist with a rich background in both clinical practice and specialized care. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Manila University, Mangalore, India, in 2009. She began her career in Mumbai, where she worked in a pediatric clinic, providing specialized treatment for children with cerebral palsy, autism, and other neurological and developmental conditions.
In 2010, Dr. Tarkar moved to the United States to pursue her MSPT in Neuromuscular Rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from EIM Institute in 2018.Her professional journey in the U.S. started in a skilled nursing facility in Maryland, after which she transitioned to an acute care setting in Kansas. There, she gained extensive experience treating post-surgical patients and managing acute medical conditions, while also providing outpatient care for individuals with a variety of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal conditions across all age groups.
In 2019, Dr. Tarkar returned to Maryland and spent three years in home health care, which provided her with invaluable experience in treating patients in their own environments. She has since moved back to outpatient care, where she continues to treat patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular conditions.
Dr. Tarkar is certified in LSVT BIG therapy, a specialized treatment for Parkinson’s disease, and has a deep passion for working with Parkinson’s patients. Currently, she is expanding her expertise into the field of pelvic rehabilitation and women’s health.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Tarkar is a devoted mother who enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and exploring national parks.

Dr. Emily Rizzo graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016 with a degree in Kinesiology. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2020. Having played volleyball in her younger years, led her to encounter various injuries and develop a passion for physical therapy and the rehabilitation process. She enjoys working with a variety of patients of all ages in the orthopedic setting to help improve their quality of life. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, yoga, watching sports, trying new recipes, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Kat De Lara graduated from Marquette University in 2018 with a degree in Athletic Training. She went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University in 2021. Although she has an athletic background having played basketball and running growing up, Kat enjoys working with all populations. One of her primary goals as a physical therapist is to help people get back to doing what they love, whether that is getting back on the basketball court or playing with their grandkids pain free. With these goals in mind, Kat has completed additional training in trigger point dry needling and pelvic health. She prides herself in providing patient-centered care to ensure that everyone she works with feels heard and prioritized, which allows her to work together with her patients to achieve their goals. Outside of work, she enjoys getting outside (running, hiking, and just laying out in the sun), watching TV/movies, and hanging out with her family and friends.
David Oriala

Dr. David Oriala received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2019. He then went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2024. Being from Hyattsville, Maryland, he decided to return back to the East Coast to continue with his career. Dr. David Oriala takes pride in patient education that tailors to their limitations and rehab goals including using lots of relatable examples during sessions. He has a strong focus in outpatient orthopedics of all ages as well as sports-related injuries and performance. His goal is to not only provide treatment to improve pain, strength and mobility but provide tools for patient understanding beyond their visits. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and football, watching sports, listening to music, watching comedies and quality time with loved ones. In addition, he is a big fan of potatoes and loves trying French fries from various restaurants.
Kaylah Beharrie

Dr. Kaylah Beharrie is a native of Dumfries, Va. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from James Madison University in 2019. She then went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023, where she also served as Vice President of her cohort. Since then, Dr. Kaylah Beharrie has gained experience in treating a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions, concussion impairments and vestibular disorders for patients ranging from pediatric ages to the older adult. In addition to her clinical experience, she has also completed continuing education courses in dry needling and spinal manipulations, which she loves to leverage into her treatment sessions to help drive positive patient outcomes. Dr. Kaylah Beharrie’s goal is to provide exceptional care for each patient she encounters, while also giving them the tools they need to reach their maximal recovery, and independently live healthier lives. Her holistic approach combines evidence-based techniques and personalized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kaylah Beharrie loves spending time with her husband, volunteering in the community, traveling, and trying new restaurants in her free time.
John Suh

Dr. John Suh graduated from University of Maryland in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He worked with Krista at the first Forever Fit location in Burtonsville as a physical therapy technician from 2010 to 2012 and went to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2015.
John has experience in industrial rehabilitation (Worker’s Compensation) and general orthopedics. John was a former Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and is a certified Trigger Point dry needling specialist (CMTPT) with Myopain Seminars. He particularly enjoys treating the shoulder and low back.
In his free time, John enjoys riding personal electric vehicles (PEVs), such as an E-bike, electric scooter, and electric unicycles. He also enjoys playing pickup basketball, playing video games, and watching TV shows/movies.
Jasmine Chabolla

Jasmine Chabolla PTA, has been practicing physical therapy since 2012. She graduated from Vanguard University in California with her BS in kinesiology with an emphasis in physical therapy. She then went on to receive her AA as a physical therapy assistant from Cerritos college.
As a military spouse she has had the opportunity to practice in a variety of physical therapy settings including skilled nursing and out patient orthopedics. She especially enjoys educating patients and helping them become passionate towards their health and wellbeing.
Jasmine has recently moved to DC and so In her spare time she enjoys exploring, being outdoors on trails, and creating fun memories with her husband, 2 sons and happy pup.
